Kaima Idli is one easy recipe with the left over idlis. When I was a kid I personally don’t eat idli. Just after marriage I started eating idli. Those who hate idli will also love this kaima idli. That is the speciality of this dish .It is also called as Chilli idli in some restaurants. This will be a great after school snack to the kids or a wasy breakfast for a busy morning. Kaima Idli tastes best when served with onion raita .So the next time when you have left over idlis , without thinking please store them in fridge ,Awesome Kaima idlis could be prepared out of those left over idlis.

I always have a lot for Vegetables.I love to include vegetable in all forms in my diet.This Mixed vegetable gravy has plenty of veggies in it. i have used Beans ,Carrot ,Potato. We can even add Green peas,Cauliflower. Any vegetables of your choice could be used in this Gravy.

Fruit cake is often served during the Christmas weddings and Christmas. Preparation of this fruit cake indicates the Christmas season. The specialty of this cake is the addiction of fruits .Usually a combination of dry fruits are being used. Raisins, Sultanas, Tutti frutti, Candied peeled orange, Dates, Apricots, Walnuts, Almonds, Cashew nuts. Any nuts and dry fruits can be used. Usually the nuts and dry fruits are soaked in Rum. The more the days they are soaked the tastier it is .I have soaked it for about 7 months. You can even soak 2 days or about 2 weeks. Those who don’t want to soak in Rum can replace it will orange juice. However the authentic way of preparing the Christmas fruit cake is by soaking the dry fruits in Rum.
Biryani is one of the most tasted recipes all over the word which is originally from the Indian Subcontinent .It is prepared as a combination of the Indian spices along with or without Meat .Few say they are originally from Persia and introduced to India by the Mughals. Kulfi, Can you name anyone who don’t like Kulfi J No right. It’s one of the yummiest dessert that can be had all around the year even if its summer, winter or even on a rainy day. Kulfi is considered to be a rich variety of ice cream because of its taste and texture. Kulfi is usually prepared by reducing the volume of the milk by boiling the milk and adding in chopped nuts. There are many flavours in Kulfi,Elachi Kulfi, Kesar Pista Kulfi, Mango Kulfi .Today I am sharing Dates Kulfi recipe. I bet you will love this flavour too.

Maa Ladoo is one quick recipe, it can be made in just 5 mins and just 5 ingredients are used. As this is made of Gram flour, This Ladoo is rich in protein. The Ghee used gives a nice aroma.
My hubby loves Gram flour ladoo whenever he sees A2B he will grab a packet of this Gram flour ladoo, so I will be having stock of this gram flour ladoo in my kitchen most of the time. So I decided to make this ladoo for my hubby J who has a strong liking for this ladoo.

This is one mug cake which can be made fata fat in just one min. When in the middle of the night if you crave for something sweet this mug cake is the best option. As I baked this cake in the middle of a night ;) This cake is made with very simple ingredient’s .The coconut milk and lime zest blends perfectly and it gives an awesome taste, and it calls for very simple ingredients available in your pantry.

I always wanted to bake a cake that is eggless and butter less so that everyone can enjoy the cake without any guilt. Then I came across this carrot cake recipe. It is absolutely healthy and delicious.
I usually love baking cake but I will not eat. This carrot cake is just the opposite I cannot stop having it .Its so moist and fluffy .The addition of curd makes the cake more moist.

Step 1) Grease a baking pan with butter and dust the pan with Maida, Tap off the excess flour . Place a parchment paper on the greased mould and set aside. Mean while grate carrot and set aside.
Step 2) Mix curd, olive oil, milk and sugar and set aside. In another bowl sieve Maida, baking powder ,baking soda and salt together and set aside. Now along with the wet ingredients add in vanilla essence and finally fold in the carrot gently.
Step 3) Now gently mix the flour mixture along with the wet ingredients and pour into the prepared cake pan and top with nuts.
Step 4) Bake for about 20 -25 mins or till the tooth pick comes out clean when inserted.
- Baking time again differs from oven to oven, depends on the tin too. mine took around 30 mins flat for the cake to bake fully but what I would suggest is check at 20mins then proceed accordingly.
- Don't skip to sieve the Maida , Baking powder, Baking soda and Salt .As sieving combines all the dry ingredients really well.
- I added 1 cup Maida fully , but you can add 1/4 cup of wheat flour as well also if you are more health conscious.You can increase or decrease Sugar as per your taste as the Carrot itself is sweet.
