Shrikhand is a creamy chilled dessert made with Greek yogurt .It is one of the main dessert in the Guajarati and Marathi Cuisine. Mango shrikhand is also called as Amrakhand .I have not used the traditional Hung curd for this shrikhand I have followed an instant method.

Mango Puree – ¼ cup
Yogurt – ½ cup
Sugar – 3 tbsp
Nuts/Fruits for topping
Elachi/Cardamon Powder - a pinch
1) In a wide bowl add in thick yogurt traditionally Hung curd is used to prepare shrikand. But today I followed a simple recipe .Mix yogurt with powdered sugar and mango pulp.
2) Mix everything really well, now add in Elachi powder for flavouring if using any nuts also you can add in now. Transfer the shrikand to a serving bowl top with nuts or fruits and cover the bowl with cling wrap and refrigerate for about 2 hours. Take out of the fridge remove the cling wrapper and serve immediately.
