Sea foods are my favourite, Born and brought up in Nagercoil we get a lot of fresh fish everyday .Prawns are again my favourite however they are high in cholesterol we can have it once in a while .I have shared many pilaf and rice variety in our blog already .But have never shared a dum Biryani .This is the one .When it comes to biryani the authentic way of preparation is the Dum Biryani ,only in that the real aroma and flavour comes out .now let’s see how to prepare Prawn Dum Biryani .I am sure this will always be a winner recipe to please everybody in home.

My Little one love cookies a lot, so my love for cookie started because of her especially when she loved the cookies made by me. The happiness when we bake a cookie and when it turns like a store bought one is unbeatable .So my whole Wheat Cashew cookie is one among them. To make it healthier I made it with Wheat Flour, the same recipe can also be made with all-purpose flour. So give a try ladies I bet you will love this one

Cooking Basmati Rice perfectly has always been a challenge for me in the initial days when I started cooking. The perfect myth is the soaking of basmati Rice and good quality of basmati Rice to be used while cooking. In the Pressure Cooker method always a understanding is required while cooking the rice .So I recommend to follow the ratio which I have mentioned below and the adjust according to your cooker’s way .This ratio works perfectly for me it has never failed me.

It is raining mangos in the market .so last week when I went to market I picked up couple of them. I made Mango Thokku, Raw Mango chutney and Mango Rice. Will be sharing those recipes as well soon. Now coming back to Mango Rice, it is one of the South Indian Variety Rice and it is a great Lunch box recipe.It is can prepared in 10 mins if we have the cooked rice ready.

Summer has reduced a bit in Bangalore but still its hot. I am kinda addicted to Popsicle .I love to experiment with different colour in Popsicle hence I try to add different kinds of fruits to get the natural colour to make the Popsicle healthier. I am a coffee freak .I cannot start my day without a coffee .I can have n no.of Coffee a day and skip meals: P I know that is not healthy .slowly I am trying to reduce that habit of mine .How many with me ;) I try to do so many variations in my coffee .I prepare instant coffee mostly .some days try filter Coffee too. Espresso coffee is one such addition to my coffee Love. I usually have it in CCD.

Paal kozhukattai is an awesome dessert my hubby loves it so much .I don’t usually follow the tradition recipe .I actually follow a quick and easy recipe so that we can prepare Paal kozhukattai any time of the day. I usually prepare this and store in refrigerator and it will stay good for about 3 days.
Will be posting the traditional version soon. Tradition version calls for Jaggery .We can also prepare using coconut milk. Now Let’s get started J

Coconut Macaroons is a common cookie in my house I make it quite often, but whenever I make it gets dis appeared so quickly .So I couldn’t click a pic. So I made this mushroom egg burji one fine day when I had to prepare a quick breakfast and added mushroom to make to tastier.
