Raita is a go to recipe on any busy day. Aloo paratha is favourite north Indian breakfast .It is very common there. It is prepared by stuffing a spiced mixture of mashed potato inside the paratha .My first try on aloo Paratha was a disaster I was not able to roll the paratha with the aloo stuffing .Lately I got many tips form my north Indian colleagues and with their help I was able to nail it perfectly. Now that I am confident enough to make these parathas any time.

Kothu Parota is a famous street food down south in Tamil Nadu. It can be made using vegetables, Meat or Egg .Though now a days we get this in all restaurant the kothu parota’s taste best which is been bought in roads Side shops . Usually it is prepared by adding the salna to the shredded parota. But I made it simple by just adding the spices and it tasted similar to the Road side Parota. This has been my favourite street food since child hood. Happy that I was able to recreate that in home...

Medhu Vadai /Urad Dal Vadai is a main recipe in South Indian Breakfast. Say any festival days we will be having Medhu Vadai, along with chutney and sambar. It is prepared by soaking Urad Dal for around 2-3 hours and then ground with minimal water and finally deep fried by adding onions and other garnish.

Parotta are usually served with Salna .Salna is a Kurma which is prepared by a ground spicy coconut masala and then cooked with either vegetables are meat. It has a special taste indeed .We can also pair Parotta with any spicy chicken or vegetable kurma along with Onion Raita.

My daughter likes ice-cream a lot but I am hesitant to give her ice-cream. So my mom suggested to prepare ice creme at home and give her. But I dint have any Ice cream maker in home. So googled a lot and found this awesome idea for no churn custard powder ice-cream. It was a real success my daughter loved it. But then I dint click pictures on the first try.

Pesarattu Dosa or Green Gram dosa is originally from Andhra Cuisine .It is served as a breakfast or a snack. Traditionally Pesarattu Dosa is served along with Upma , chutney and Sambar .Persarattu Dosa is prepared by soaking the Green Gram (also know as Paasi Parupu or Payatham Parupu in Tamil ,Cerupayar in Malayalam ,Hasiru Gram in Kannada and Pesalu in Telugu ) Overnight and then grinding it with green chilli ,Ginger and cooked like crepes.
