As we all know fishes are a very good source of Vitamins and essential fatty acids. It is advisable to consume fish once in a week at least. Pomfret Fish are way healthy and delicious .I usually don’t add Fried Gram Dal in fish fry ,but when I happened to see this space I liked the way it has come, So I gave a try it turned out to be perfect and delicious!! Now let’s get started.

To Grind :
Garlic pods – 6 nos
Dry Red Chilli – 8
Fried Gram Dal / Potukadalai– 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Curry Leaves a spring
Pepper Corns – 1 tsp
Salt as needed
Olive oil – 1 tbsp
Step by step Method with pictures:1. Clean the fish, Wash well and make slashes in the fish and set aside. Grind all the ingredients mentioned under the To grind table to a fine paste.
Apply the ground masala over the fish and make sure it is evenly applied throughout the fish. Let the fish marinate for 2 hours .After margination heat a tawa with oil for shallow frying.
Tastes good with Just Rasam and Steamed Rice.Serve hot with a dash of Lemon juice .
