Wheat Flour Burfi Recipe with step by step photos. Now that the Diwali season has started I come across a lot of sweets and savouries daily. So thought of sharing an easy and healthy burfi that perfectly fits in for this season. I made the burfi using Wheat flour and Jaggery. Palm sugar was not handy with me so I went on with Jagerry .I simple loved this burfi. Now let’s get started.

Step by step Method with pictures:
1. In a pan heat in ghee ,once it is melted add in the wheat flour and roast in a low flame until the colour changes to golden and you will get a nice aroma.
2. Next add in the cardamom powder and the Jaggery. Mix well. Cook till the jaggery melts and blends well with the wheat flour.
3. Keep a tray or plate greased with ghee ready. Now transfer the flour to the greased plate and level it.
4. While it is still hot draw lines to shape it into burfi’s and garnish with any nuts of your choice. Once it cools down you can separate them into pieces.

Wheat Flour Burfi
Wheat Flour Burfi is made with just few ingredients . It is so easy and quick to prepare.
Servings: 8 pieces
Calories:
Standard 1 cup measures 240 ml
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour / Atta – ½ cup
- Jaggery – ½ cup
- Ghee – 2 tbsp
- Cardamom Powder – ½ tsp
- Nuts to garnish
Instructions
- In a pan heat in ghee ,once it is melted add in the wheat flour and roast in a low flame until the colour changes to golden and you will get a nice aroma.
- Next add in the cardamom powder and the Jaggery. Mix well. Cook till the jaggery melts and blends well with the wheat flour.

Notes
· You can also replace Jaggery with Palm Sugar.
