Pepper
Chicken Curry Recipe in pressure cooker with step by step pictures .Pepper
always have a unique taste and favour among all the spices and its my favourite
too. I have tried few other recipes with pepper combo here are they :

To
Marinate :
Chicken
– ½ kg or 500gms
Pepper –
2 tbsp
Salt as
needed
Lemon
juice – 1 tbsp
Other
ingredients :
Onion –
2
Ginger
garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Tomato –
1
Pepper powder – 1 tsp
Chili
powder – ½ tsp
Garam
Masala – ½ tsp
Salt as
needed
Curry Leaves
– 1 spring
Water –
¾ cup
To
Temper:
Oil /
Ghee – 1 tbsp
Fennel
seeds – 1 tsp
Cinnamon
stick -1/2 inch piece
Star
anise – 1
Method:
1. Clean
the chicken and take it to a bowl to this add in the ingredients mentioned
under To Marinate section .Mix well and allow it to rest for about 30 mins.
2. Heat
a pressure cooker to this add in oil/ghee and then the Fennel seeds allow it
to splutter and then add in the cinnamon stick and star anise, Fry for few
secs and then add in Onion.
3. Saute
well until the onions are well cooked and then add in ginger garlic paste
cook till the raw smell leaves. Next add tomatoes and cook till the turn mushy.
Next add the Pepper powder, Chili powder, Garam Masala and Salt.
4. Give
a good mix add in the curry leaves and Water.
5. Cook
for five mins and then close the pressure cooker and cook for 2 whistles in a
high flame. Wait till the pressure gets released by its own and then open the
cooker. Tasty pepper chicken gravy is now ready.
Notes:

Serve hot with Steamed Rice.

Goes well with Idli ,Dosa ,Chapatti
,Puri or any Flat bread.
