Prawn Noodles Recipe | Chilli Prawn
Noodles with step by step pictures. Noodles comes really handy while preparing
lunch boxes. Also, while preparing noodles I love to add more and more veggies
and this really enhance the flavour of noodles. My daughter has developed a
sudden liking towards noodles and hence I try to include and sneak peak some
veggies and protein which she loves along with the noodles. This Chilli prawn noodles
is one such try and she really loved this.

Ingredients:
Hakka noodles – 1 small packet
Salt – ½ tsp
Oil – ½ tsp
To Marinate:
Chilli sauce – 1 tsp
Soy sauce – ½ tsp
Prawns – 10 -15
Other Ingredients:
Oil – 1 tbsp
Garlic – 4
Dry Red Chilli – 3 or 4
Capsicum – 2 tbsp
Red Chilli Sauce – 2 tsp
Green Chilli sauce – 1 tsp
Soy sauce – ½ tsp
Vinegar – ½ tsp
Pepper powder – ¼ tsp
Spring onion – 3 tbsp (to garnish)
Method:
1.
Heat a pan with water to this add in the salt and
oil, wait till the water comes to a boil.
2.
Once the water boils add in the hakka noodles and
cook till its done. Drain the excess water and then wash the noodles. Set aside.
(Washing the noodles prevents it from further cooking and this way it will
not be over cooked or mushy). Mean while marinate the prawn in Chilli sauce
and soy sauce allow it to sit for 10 mins.

After marinating cook the prawns in oil till
perfection and set aside.
4.
Heat a kadai with oil add in the garlic and saute
next add in the dry red chilli and capsicum. Saute for few secs and then add
in the Red Chilli sauce, Green Chilli sauce. Mix well.
5.
Next add the Soya Sauce, Vinegar mix everything
together and then add in the cooked prawns let it cook for a min and then add
in the cooked hakka noodles.
6.
Mix everything together and sprinkle in the
pepper powder and the Spring onion. Switch off the flame.

ReplyDeleteI make this recipe regularly but haven't added prawns. The noodles look so spicy and delicious.
