Filter Coffee is a traditional coffee prepared from milk and decoction. The decoction is prepared with a special coffee filter.
Most of the households begin their day with a cup of either coffee or Tea. The same applies to me as well. I am a coffee freak. I can never say no to coffee be any time of the say. But most of the time I stick to instant coffee. But the richness and aroma of traditional coffee come only from filter coffee. It is sure worth a try
How to prepare Filter Coffee
In a big vessel start boiling 1 cup of water. In the filter put the coffee powder, when the water boils well switch off the stove and pour the boiling water into the top chamber of the coffee filter. If the filter overflows wait till it goes down and add the water fully.
Leave the coffee filter undisturbed for 15 mins. Your decoction would have collected in the bottom chamber of the filter. Now bring in the milk to boil and add in the required decoction and sugar allow the milk to simmer for a min and switch off the stove. Filter coffee is ready
