The peas Sundal is a South Indian variation to the North Indian Matra . Amazing how the same peas are flavored differently to make street food . Awesome , love the raw mango in this delicious Sundal.

When I went to Nairobi for my aunt's 90th birthday she kept on telling me how to make a Madrasi snack using brown chana. As she can't take photos and write recipes but still wants it as a post on my blog she told me how to make it. Its exactly how you've made the beach sundal except that you've used white peas. A delicious looking beach snack.

The beach sundal just has its own taste. The saltiness from the air along with the coconut and manga is just out of this world. I always buy a few when we go to the beach.
