Dahi Paneer Gravy | Paneer Yogurt Curry with step by step pictures. Usually, Dahi Paneer is prepared by whisking Yogurt and Besan Powder, but I tried my own version of mine which I really liked. I tried this last month back and when I shared on Instagram I got so many requests to share the recipe but since I was posting Christmas recipes I couldn’t post this one. So, without further delay here is the delicious recipe of creamy Dahi Paneer.
2. Next add in the onion and saute till glossy and then add in the tomato and cook till mushy.
3. Next add in the Chilli powder, Turmeric powder, Salt and Garam Masala Saute well and then add in the water mix well and cook for 5 mins. Whisk the curd until creamy and then add in the curd. Mix well and then keep the flame in low and cook for 2 mins.
4. Next add in then the toasted paneer cubes and mix well. Finally, add in the fresh cream give a good mix, and then switch off the flame. Finally, garnish with some fresh coriander leaves.

Dahi Paneer Gravy | Paneer Yogurt Curry
Standard 1 cup measures 240 ml
Ingredients
- 200 gms Paneer
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Mustard Seeds – ½ tsp
- Cumin Seeds – ½ tsp
- Urad Dal – 1 tsp
- Dry Red Chili- 2
- Curry Leaves a spring
- Onion – 1
- Tomato – 2
- Chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Garam Masala – ½ tsp
- Salt as needed
- Water – ½ cup
- Curd / Yogurt – ½ cup
- Fresh Cream – ¼ cup
- Coriander leaves to garnish
Instructions
- Heat a pan sprinkle in a little oil and toast the paneer cubes until slightly golden and set aside. In the same pan add in the remaining oil once its hot add in the Mustard Seeds, Cumin seeds, Urad Dal let them splutter and then add in the Dry Red Chilli and Curry Leaves fry for a min.
- Next, add in the onion and saute till glossy and then add in the tomato and cook till mushy.
