Baked Potato Wedges
Potato Wedges is a very popular snack or Street food across the world. It's either deep-fried or baked. You may serve it with ketchup, Mayonnaise, or Sour Cream. Because of its simplicity and ease of preparation, it's popular across the world.
Variations in Potato Wedges
You may also add Onion powder, Garlic powder, and Paprika powder and customize the spices as you prefer. You may also bake it with or without skin as you prefer. Another best option is to use the Cajun seasoning.
Prep Work for Baked Potato Wedges:
- Slice the Potatoes into Wedges.
- Get the seasonings ready.
- Preheat the oven.
How to Prepare Baked Potato Wedges, Pictorial:
1. In a large bowl slice the potato into wedges. Bring in water to boil and then add in potato wedges let it boil for 2 mins and then switch off the flame and drain the potatoes.
2. To these potatoes add in crushed garlic, all-purpose flour, salt and finely chopped coriander leaves and mix well. Arrange the marinated potato wedges in a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Brush the potatoes with oil.
3. Preheat the oven at 180 deg C for about 7 mins and then bake the potato wedges for about 40 mins. Turn the potato wedges once every 15 mins or when the wedges become slightly golden brown. Toss the baked potatoes with Chilli flakes and Oregano seasoning.
Tips for the Baked Potato Wedges
- The Baking time may vary from oven to oven .so check the over manual instructions.
- I first baked for 15 mins and then flipped the potato wedges and baked again for 15 mins for uniform baking.
- Cheese could be added to this recipe to make it more special.
- I served the potato wedges with homemade Mint chutney used for tandoori and Kebab will share the recipe soon.

Baked Potato Wedges
Standard 1 cup measures 240 ml
Ingredients
- 2 Potato Big
- 1 tbsp All-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp Crushed garlic
- 1 tbsp Finely chopped coriander leaves
- 1 tbsp Chili flakes
- 1 tsp Oregano seasoning
- Salt as needed
- 2 tsp Olive Oil
