I prefer using french baguette bread for the garlic bread as they are long and versatile and soft outside making it perfect for garlic bread.

Ingredients
French baguette bread - It is a long thin bread that has a crispy crust which is perfect for garlic bread.
Soft unsalted bread - Since we are using unsalted bread, no need to add extra salt for the garlic bread. Also, use soft butter so that we can easily mix the herbs with the butter. Microwave the butter for 20 secs to get the soft butter.
Red Chilli Flakes - Gives a nice tint to the garlic bread.
Oregano - We are using oregano for flavor, instead of oregano you may also use mixed herbs or Italian seasonings.
Rosemary - This is optional but I love the flavor when added to garlic bread.
How to make easy garlic bread
- Grate the garlic pods. Mix the garlic, Red Chilli flakes, and dried oregano with soft salted butter, if using unsalted butter add in a pinch of salt, mix everything.
2. Slice in the french baguette bread into pieces of 1-inch thickness.
3. Heat a griddle with some butter and toast the butter for 30 secs on both sides.
4. Now spread in some garlic butter and spread it over one side of the toasted bread.
5. In the same griddle let it toast 20 secs on one side and then flip and toast for 20 secs on the other side. Cover with a lid and for 30 secs and then remove the lid and switch off the flame.
Tips & Variations:
- You may add in cheese along with the butter for a cheesy garlic bread.
- We can also try adding different seasonings for more flavors.
- You can also add in Cilantro or Parsely.
- Instead of stovetop you may use the Oven or air fryer to prepare this quick garlic bread.
Storage Suggestions:
I don't prefer storing Garlic bread. You may prepare the butter mix and store the bread. While serving you may assemble and then toast and serve.
Bread normally does not have a longer shelf life. So try finishing it within a week.
Serving Suggestions
Garlic bread goes well with any warm soup for an evening or dinner. I prefer serving with my pumpkin soup.

- 2 tbsp Soft Salted Butter
- Oregano as needed to sprinkle
- 1 tsp Red Chilli flakes
