Sorbet is a frozen dessert made with fresh fruits. It is much a healthier version compared to the Ice cream as it is vegan ,dairy free and has very minimal sugar .If your fruits are really fresh and sweeter we can even skip sugar in sorbet. So I decided to give a try with the seasonal Fresh Mangoes. Now let’s start with the recipes.

How to Prepare Mango sorbet , Pictorial
1. In a sauce pan add in Sugar, Cardamom powder and Water and allow it to boil till the sugar dissolves and gets a little thick. No one string consistency is required.
2. Wash the Mangoes well and then scoop out the fresh from them to this add in the lemon juice and sugar water.
3. Take everything in a blender and blend well to form a fine paste. Put the contents in a freezer safe bowl and freeze it for 4 hours.
4. After 4 hours scoop everything again to a blender and blend everything once again and the transfer it back to the freezer safer box and freeze again. Repeat the same process for another 4 or 5 time and then finally freeze for another 6 hours continuously.
Serve Chilled 🙂

Mango Sorbet
Standard 1 cup measures 240 ml
Ingredients
- Mango – 2
- Sugar – ¼ cup
- Water – 3 tbsp
- Cardamom powder – ½ tsp
- Lemon juice – ½ tsp

Notes
- The more time your blend the frozen mangoes you will get a better consistency of the sorbet.
- You can also add a drop of Rose water to the sorbet.
